WEDDING SERVICE: Day-Of Assistant services are for couples who are handling most of the planning process on their own and would like someone to double check their work before the big day.

From date of hire I'm available via phone and email to offer expertise, guidance and answer questions

You receive access to my preferred vendor list and cloud-based drive to easily keep track of all planning documents

We will schedule at least 2 meetings to review everything you have planned and discuss the event details. If desired, one of those meetings can double as a venue walk-through

I will attend and lead your ceremony rehearsal (the day before or day-of the event)

I provide (up to) 12 hours of onsite 'day-of' assistance which includes the following:

Ceremony coordination lead

Supervision of vendor load in and set up

Supervision of event timing, referencing the layouts and timeline that you create

Set up of the following personal/decor items: guestbook, seating chart, cake utensils, champagne flutes, favors, table numbers, bar signage, linen placement on tables and send off items (i.e. sparklers, pom-poms, bubbles, etc.)

Loading of the aforementioned items and any received gifts into designated vehicles at the end of the night.

Distribution of any personal flowers (boutonnières and corsages) and any vendor gratuities accordingly

Your access to my wedding emergency kit which includes: scissors, assortment of tape, mini sewing kit, glue gun and safety pins

How much experience do you have / what is your event background?I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Design Tech, specializing in theatrical stage management and directing. My career in the event industry began nearly a decade ago when I moved to Austin and interned with one of the industry's most reputable planners, who has nearly 30 years of experience. Over the past 9+ years, I gained hands-on experience working directly with this planner’s team and advanced through roles including day-of assistant, lead coordinator, and full planner, before launching my own business 3.5 years ago.

Are your packages customizable?Absolutely! I'd love to hear more about your event and discuss what you're looking for. Once I have an idea of the scope of the services you are envisioning I'll build a fully custom package for you.

Can I add services on at a later time?Of course! Let me know when you need to call in some backup and I will be happy to assist.

What are your payment terms?The non-refundable retainer to book my services is 50% of the grand total with the remaining 50% due 18 days before the wedding. I'm happy to visit about a payment plan with you upon request. Regarding methods of payment: You are welcome to pay electronically online (a 3% admin fee applies) or You are welcome to pay with a physical check and/or money order. (This method of payment avoids the admin fee.)

Do you offer wedding design services?I consider myself a design liaison—someone who can take the vision in your mind and guide you to the artists (vendors) who can bring that vision to life. My guidance is included in all of the above packages. If you’d like for me to attend a vendor meeting with you (or on your behalf) I offer Vendor Meetings (+ Management) at $300/per meeting. [More on that under Full Service (Add Ons) above.] I love getting to collaborate with my fellow vendors and voice my opinions on decor, color, aesthetics, the event layout, etc.

Do you offer budgeting services to help us remain on budget?I offer complimentary budgeting advice to all potential new clients before they hire me. This is to ensure their budget is realistically synced with the vision they've described to me and based on trends I see in the industry. Should you choose to retain my services, I am not contractually tied to your budget. I am happy to provide a budget tracking spreadsheet for your use!
